SERVE & SUCCEED AND COMMUNITY SPIKE AWARDS
These awards recognize graduating students who are current or former volleyball athletes of EKVC. Application deadline: May 31st
Each year, East Kootenay Volleyball Club offers award opportunities to current or former EKVC athletes.

| Serve & Succeed Award | Student-athletes recruited to post-secondary institutions | Recruitment to post-secondary institutions to play volleyball may apply for the Serve & Succeed with selection criteria based upon exemplary leadership, sportsmanship, and recruitment. |
| Community SPIKE Award | Sportsmanship, Performance, Integrity, Knowledge, and Excellence | Award selection criteria is based upon exemplary leadership, sportsmanship, and service to EKVC, fellow athletes, school, and /or the community at large. Recruitment status is not taken into consideration in the selection criteria/ process for this award. |
*** Student-athletes recruited to post-secondary institutions to play volleyball may apply for the Community SPIKE award as well. However recruitment status is not taken into consideration in the selection criteria/ process for the Community SPIKE award and an application for both awards must be submitted to be considered.
Successful applicants will receive one or the other.
