Club volleyball is a great way to improve your skills for the next school season, participate in Provincial tournaments and make new friends. 

Teams are composed of players from throughout the East Kootenay region.

The season runs from approximately mid-February to mid-May depending on the age group, with most tournaments being at the end of March through the first part of May.  The older teams will generally begin practicing in December or January.

2012 EKVC Registration

The deadline for 2012 registration is January 13, 2012.

Registration after this date will be on a case by case basis dependent on the age group details.

2011-12 Scholarship Recipients Announced

The club would like to congratulate the 2011-12 scholarship recipients:
    
Scott Kemperman (Cranbrook), Victoria McArthur (Elkford), Brianne Rauch (Kimberley),
Stefanie Schoenberger (Cranbrook) and Julie-Ann Sternig (Cranbrook).
 



Purpose of the EKVC

i) To develop and promote indoor and outdoor volleyball for all ages in the East Kootenay region.

ii) To promote, develop, organize and operate clinics for volleyball players, coaches, and game officials.

iii) To disseminate information, records, and instructional material on the game of volleyball.

iv) To assist in anyway whatsoever any organization or association promoting interest in or developing the game of volleyball.

v) To participate in local, regional, provincial and national volleyball events.


The EKVC achieved Society Status on November 5, 2004.
