Understanding Your Investment in Youth Volleyball

As a parent, you want the best for your child, and you understand the value of investing in their development, both on and off the volleyball court. Enrolling your child in youth volleyball at EKVC (East Kootenay Volleyball Club) not only fosters their physical skills but also instills important life lessons such as teamwork, discipline, and dedication. To ensure transparency and clarity, we've broken down the costs associated with youth volleyball registration, helping you understand what you're playing for and what your child will receive in return.

1. Recreation Fees (January to April/May):
   - Age Categories: 13U-18U
   - Practices: 1.5 - 2-hour sessions, age dependent

What's Included:

3. Tournaments and Travel

Tournaments organized by Volleyball Alberta are usually held in Calgary and Edmonton. It's important to note that tournament travel, accommodation, and registration for the team are not included in the club fees. Families can expect tournament travel costs to vary, ranging from $1,250 to $2,000 for the season if they plan to attend all five tournaments, which includes four premier tournaments and one national tournament. These costs cover expenses such as transportation, lodging, and tournament registration fees.

By enrolling your child in EKVC's youth volleyball program, you're investing in their personal growth, athletic development, and overall well-being. We are dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for your child to thrive in the sport of volleyball. We look forward to having your child as part of the EKVC family!
